Community Connection

At Kew East Primary School, we're passionate about connecting with our community and understand the value of inviting our parents and carers on-site to join the learning journey. We're continually exploring and reflecting on effective strategies to connect with parents and carers. Throughout the year, we offer many opportunities for our community to come on-site and connect with our learning.

Connection opportunities include:

• Welcome Picnic
• Community Connection Events including a Term 1 celebration
• Meet the principal morning teas
• Education Week
• Fundraising events – including a parent and carers Trivia Night and student colour run
• School Council and Sub-Committee membership.
